Pay by the load. Simple.
Your price is based on how much space your junk takes up in the truck — measured on site, agreed before we lift a thing. For scale, Wetland Junk Removal counts a cubic yard as about one front-load washer — so a full truck is roughly fifteen of them.

Around Tradition
Neighborhoods we serve in Tradition
Tradition mixes brand-new construction with established 55+ communities, and our jobs here reflect it: moving-day leftovers and packing debris in Manderlie and Bedford Park, downsizing and furniture removal in Vitalia and Del Webb, and treadmill and exercise equipment pickup all over. New home, new start — old stuff gone.
ZIP code we cover in Tradition34987
Tradition is newer housing stock, which means the jobs out here skew toward move-in leftovers, garage buildup, and downsizing rather than decades of accumulation. We're happy to work in stages — garage this week, spare room next — and everything we load goes to the St. Lucie County Solid Waste Baling & Recycling Facility on Glades Cut-Off Road, the same place you'd be driving it yourself.
Tradition rules
Tradition is inside the city — same monthly bulk cycle
Tradition falls under City of Port St. Lucie collection. Newer houses, bigger garages, and the same 2-cubic-yard monthly ceiling as the rest of the city.
How collection works here
- FCC Environmental: garbage, recycling and yard waste weekly
- Bulk once a month, on your regular collection day
- 2 cubic yards per month at the curb
- Beyond that, $18.50 per cubic yard through 1PSL, 772-871-1775
Why the cap bites in Tradition
- Two-car and three-car garages fill past two cubic yards easily
- A sectional plus a mattress set is already over
- Move-in leftovers and flat-packed boxes eat the allowance fast
- Waiting out a monthly cycle in pieces takes half a year
Self-haul from out here
- Cameo Boulevard drop-off closed permanently in January 2026
- Nearest county site: Glades Cut-Off Road, Fort Pierce
- From Tradition that's a genuine cross-county run
- Charged by weight at the scale
Rules change. These were checked against city and county sources in 2026 — confirm with your municipality before you rely on them.
FAQ
Tradition junk removal questions
Can't I just put it out for Tradition bulk pickup?
You can, within limits. Tradition is inside Port St. Lucie city limits, so bulk is collected once a month on your regular day, up to 2 cubic yards. A sectional and a mattress set will use that up on its own. Past the cap the city charges $18.50 per cubic yard, and since the Cameo Boulevard drop-off center closed in January 2026 the nearest self-haul option is Glades Cut-Off Road in Fort Pierce.
Do you help residents of Vitalia, Del Webb, and Telaro downsize?
Yes — 55+ community downsizing is some of our most frequent Tradition work. We move at your pace, handle every bit of the lifting, and can split the job across multiple visits. Family members out of town? We'll send photos before and after each stage.
Can you haul away moving boxes and packing debris in Tradition?
Definitely. New-build move-ins generate mountains of flattened boxes, foam, and pallet scraps, and builders don't take it with them. We'll clear the garage of all of it in one quick stop — it's usually a quarter-load job, our least expensive tier after single items.
Do you pick up exercise equipment like treadmills and ellipticals?
All the time. Treadmills, ellipticals, home gyms, and massage chairs are heavy, awkward, and hard to sell — we disassemble when needed and haul them out without dinging the walls. Single-item pickups start at $150.
