Storage Unit Cleanouts.

That monthly storage bill adds up fast when the unit is full of things you'll never use again. We meet you at the facility, empty the unit down to the concrete, and you close the account the same day.

What a storage unit cleanout includes

  • Units emptied down to bare walls
  • Same-day facility checkout possible
  • Donation & recycling included
  • Any unit size
  • Abandoned-unit service for facility managers

How a storage unit cleanout works here

Most units are a half load or less — send us photos of the open unit and we'll quote it before we roll. We also work with storage facility managers on abandoned-unit clear-outs.

For businesses: Storage facility managers: recurring abandoned-unit clear-outs with fast turnaround so units get back in service.

The two questions

Unit size to load size, and getting through the gate

What your unit actually holds

Storage units are deceptive because everything is stacked, so people consistently underestimate. Measured against our fifteen cubic yard truck, here is the honest range:

5x5 packed lands about a quarter to half load. 5x10 runs a half to three-quarter load. 10x10 stacked to the ceiling is a full load or more, and sometimes closer to two. 10x20 is a multi-load job and worth planning as one.

Those are ranges rather than promises, because a unit of boxes packs far denser than a unit holding a sectional and a mattress. Open the door, take one photo from the doorway, and you get a real number instead of a guess.

Access is the part that trips people

Most facilities tie the gate code to the tenant on file, which means we usually need you there to get in, at least at the start. Once we are inside and you have shown us the unit, you are free to go.

Climate-controlled buildings add their own rules: elevator reservations, cart-only corridors, no loading at certain hours. Tell us the facility and the unit number when you send photos and we will call ahead rather than discovering it on the day.

The other clock is billing. Rent renews whether the unit is empty or not, so if you are trying to close out before a date, say the date. Normal turnaround is one to two business days and often same day, which is usually enough to beat it.

Pricing

Storage unit cleanout pricing

Your price is based on how much space your junk takes up in the truck — measured on site, agreed before we lift a thing. For scale, Wetland Junk Removal counts a cubic yard as about one front-load washer — so a full truck is roughly fifteen of them.

¼ Load

$225

about 3.75 cubic yards

  • A few furniture pieces
  • Small appliance pickup
  • Garage corner cleanup

½ Load

$400

about 7.5 cubic yards

  • Room's worth of junk
  • Multiple large items
  • Small shed clear-out

¾ Load

$550

about 11.25 cubic yards

  • Multi-room cleanup
  • Large furniture sets
  • Big yard-debris jobs

Full Load

$650

about 15 cubic yards

  • Whole-garage cleanout
  • Moving leftovers
  • Best per-item value

A full load is about 15 cubic yards — roughly six pickup truck loads. Single-item pickups start at $150. Price includes labor, loading, hauling, and disposal fees. Heavy materials (concrete, dirt, roofing) quoted separately — just send photos.

FAQ

Storage unit cleanout questions

Do I need to meet you at the facility?

Usually yes, at least to get us in. Most facilities need the tenant on file to authorise access, and gate codes are often tied to your account. Once we are inside and you have shown us the unit, you are free to go. If your facility has its own process for vendor access, tell us and we will follow it.

How do I know what size load my unit is?

Rough guide against a 15 cubic yard truck: a packed 5x5 lands around a quarter to half load, a 5x10 runs a half to three-quarter load, and a 10x10 stacked to the ceiling is a full load or more, sometimes closer to two. Units are deceptive because everything is stacked, so the honest answer is to open the door and send a photo from the doorway. That gets you a real number instead of a guess.

Will it be clean enough to close out the rental?

That is the point of the job. We take everything out and sweep the unit so it passes a move-out inspection and stops the rent clock. If the facility needs anything specific done before they sign it off, tell us and we will do it while we are there rather than making you come back.

How quickly can you get there? My rent is due.

Usually 1 to 2 business days and often same day, which is normally enough to beat a billing date if you call as soon as you know. Tell us the deadline when you send photos and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it rather than letting you find out on the day.
