How an estate cleanout works here
We coordinate with families, executors, and realtors across the Treasure Coast, and can work around estate sales and family pickups. Usable furniture and household goods are donated whenever possible, and the home is left broom-clean and ready to list.

What turns up in the boxes
Every estate job surfaces things nobody knew were there. Deeds and titles, savings bonds, military discharge papers, tax records, insurance policies, photographs going back three generations, and cash in places that make no sense - a coat pocket, a coffee tin, taped inside a drawer.
None of that goes on the truck. Before we start, tell us what matters and it gets set aside rather than loaded. If you would rather open a particular room's boxes yourself, we will stack them for you and take the rest.
Where there is genuine uncertainty, the safe answer is always the same: it stays. We would rather leave a box for you to check than be the reason something is gone.
Working to somebody else's calendar
These jobs rarely run on the family's schedule. There is a probate timeline, a realtor with a listing date, an estate sale that has to happen before the house empties, and relatives arriving from out of state on a fixed weekend.
So we work in stages when that helps. The garage this week and the bedrooms after the estate sale is completely normal. Rooms can be left untouched entirely - say which and they stay exactly as they are.
If you are handling this from out of state, that is common and workable. A lockbox, a key or a realtor letting us in is enough, we send photos as we go, and payment is by card over the phone. For anything inside the home we want one person - family, executor or agent - to have walked us through what stays, even over video.

Your price is based on how much space your junk takes up in the truck — measured on site, agreed before we lift a thing. For scale, Wetland Junk Removal counts a cubic yard as about one front-load washer — so a full truck is roughly fifteen of them.

A full load is about 15 cubic yards — roughly six pickup truck loads. Single-item pickups start at $150. Price includes labor, loading, hauling, and disposal fees. Heavy materials (concrete, dirt, roofing) quoted separately — just send photos.

Estate cleanout questions
Can we do this in stages instead of all at once?
Yes, and most families do. There is no rule that a house has to empty in one visit. We can do the garage this week and the bedrooms next, or hold off on a room entirely until someone has been through it. Say what you want left alone and it stays exactly where it is.
What if something valuable turns up in a box?
Anything you flag gets set aside rather than loaded. Before we start, tell us what matters — paperwork, photographs, jewelry, anything with a name on it — and we work around it. If you would rather go through a room yourself first, do that and we will take what is left.
Does anything get donated instead of dumped?
Where it can be. Furniture and household goods in usable shape get sorted for donation, and metal goes to recycling rather than the landfill. What is genuinely finished goes to the county facility. Nobody can promise every item finds a second home, but the usable things do not get thrown away by default.
Do I have to be there? I live out of state.
No, and that comes up a lot. We can work from a key, a lockbox or a realtor letting us in, send photos as we go, and settle up by card over the phone. For inside-the-home work we do want someone — you, a family member, or an agent — to have walked us through what stays, even if that is over video.
