How curbside trash pickup works here
Curbside is our simplest and most affordable service, and it adds easily onto any other job. Perfect for move-outs, renovations, and the pile that's been sitting by the garage for a month.
For businesses: Landlords and flippers: scheduled curbside pulls during renovations keep your site clean without a dumpster rental.
Know before you call
Your city's bulk rules, side by side
St. Lucie County side
Port St. Lucie collects bulk once a month on your regular day, capped at two cubic yards - about two front-load washers by the city's own measure. Over the cap you pay by the yard through 1PSL at (772) 871-1775, currently $18.50 per cubic yard.
Fort Pierce is the friendliest schedule on our routes: bulk runs weekly rather than monthly. The catch is ordinance 16-27:5 - anything a landscaper or contractor generated stays with you, because the city collects household waste, not trade waste.
St. Lucie West and Tradition sit inside Port St. Lucie city limits, so the monthly cycle and the two-yard cap apply the same. What changes is your association, which may not want a mattress at the curb for three weeks waiting on collection day.
Martin County side
Stuart runs its own sanitation instead of the county contract, and the rules are stricter than most people expect. Garbage and yard trash are each collected weekly, yard trash cannot exceed four feet in height or four feet across, palm fronds are exempt from the diameter limit, and it must go out in cans, paper bags or cardboard - never plastic bags.
Jensen Beach, Palm City and Hobe Sound are unincorporated Martin County on the Waste Management contract, with a genuinely generous allowance of about ten cubic yards a week. Call them first at (772) 546-7700. The delay is the tag-and-return process, which can run five business days - fine unless a house is closing.
Across every one of these, the same two things send people to us: the pile is over the cap, or a landscaper made it and the city will not touch it.
Pricing
Curbside pickup pricing
Your price is based on how much space your junk takes up in the truck — measured on site, agreed before we lift a thing. For scale, Wetland Junk Removal counts a cubic yard as about one front-load washer — so a full truck is roughly fifteen of them.

FAQ
Curbside pickup questions
How is this different from my city bulk pickup?
City bulk is free but slow and capped — once a month in Port St. Lucie with a two cubic yard limit, and separate rules in every other city we serve. We are the option when the pile is over the cap, when the next collection date is too far out, or when what you have is on the list your city will not take. If bulk works for your situation, use it; we will say so.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes — $150, the same as a single item. Below about that much material you are better off waiting for your regular bulk day, and we would rather tell you that than take the job. Once you are past a few pieces, the load pricing takes over and the per-item cost drops fast.
Do I need to be home?
No. This is the one job where being there genuinely does not matter. Stack it at the curb, tell us the address, and it will be gone. You get an on-my-way text so you know when it happened, and you can call to move the day any time.
What if I put out more than I told you?
A bit extra just rides — we are not going to re-price a job over one more bag. If the pile has grown into a materially bigger load than the photos showed, we will show you the new number and get a yes before anything goes on the truck. No surprise invoices.
Ready to get it gone?
Free quotes. Upfront prices. Your space back.
